Life

It has been waaaaay too long since I last posted on this blog.  I am definitely not consistent with it haha. So much has happened in the last 5 1/2 years.  The last time I blogged was 11-17-2010 which was the day that my now husband ask me out on our first date! Cant believe that time has flown by so fast. Who new that that following weekend I would go out on my first date with my future hubby! Marriage has been better than I could have ever dreamed.  Brian knows me so well and always helps me when things get stressful with school or with life.  We are definitely goof balls but I think that's the best.  If we weren't silly, life would be too boring haha!
The last few years have consisted of many adventures, dates, a little over a year of marriage, and 6 months of dental hygiene school. I have loved every minute of it!
This last week, Brian and I went to the Easter Pageant on their last night of rehearsal. We thought that since we were going then and not on the official night of the pageant that it wouldn't be too busy. Boy were we wrong! We got there and it was almost full! Thankfully we were able to still find a spot to sit that wasn't too far back, and we were able to eat our nummy Pete's Fish N Chips while we watched.
This week is Spring Break for school. Unfortunately, in dental hygiene school we only get two of the days off for it.  I will take what I can get! Any little break is nice to try to catch up and breathe for a second.  This program is probably one of the hardest things I have done.  It takes all my determination to keep going some days because of all the things that are required of us as students.   That being said, school is definitely speeding by super quick! It feels like just yesterday that I got accepted, and now I have already completed 6 months with only 9 more to go til graduation! I can do make it!! haha

Moving...

Yes, we have done it again. This past week, my family moved. I feel like I have moved so much in my life that I should be a pro at packing and unpacking. This time though, I got creative(which really just means lazy, haha). Instead of packing up all my drawers in my dresser, I just took the drawers out and stuck them in the trunk of my car. Much more efficient, haha!

I like the new house. It has a more cozy feel about it. It doesnt seem all 'chopped up' like our last house was. Unfortunately, I get to share a room again with my sisters. It is a big room so we arent cramped at all, which is a major plus. As much as I enjoyed having my own space, I am already seeing it as a blessing. Strangely enough, we (my sister and I) are getting along better than we were before.... I give it one more week.... Hah

Jimmy Eat World Concert

So last night I went to the Jimmy Eat World concert. It was AMAZING! I had such a fun time! I had only been to two previous concerts. The first one being Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert at the state fair. The second was Taking Back Sunday at ASU. I had a headache through out the whole concert at ASU (not fun). Last nights concert was my favorite! It was the first time I stood at a concert which added to the whole experience. Although, I will admit, my back and knees were killing me by the end. All in all, I loved the whole thing and even got a T-shirt (which I LOVE)!

I Finally Caved....

After many months of looking at my sisters/friends blogs, I finally decided to get one of my own. I think my favorite part of this whole thing is designing it, haha! I have probably changed its design five times in the last few days.

I absolutely love quotes. I have been scrapbooking quotes into a book for the past couple years. Here are a couple of favorites....

"Happiness is to be found along the way, not at the end of the road, for then the journey is over and it is too late." -Robert R. Updegraff

"I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so you can appreciate them when they're right... and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together." -Marilyn Monroe

"As your faith is strengthened you will find that there is no longer the need to have a sense of control, that things will flow as they will, and that you will flow with them, to your great delight and benefit."

and finally...

"No matter what your past has been, you have a spotless future." -Hugh B. Brown
